Floyd A. Bausher, "Flutch," 92, of Hamburg passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. He was the husband of M. Elizabeth (Krommes) Bausher who died on May 5, 2005. Floyd and Elizabeth were married 61 years at the time of her death.
Born in Hamburg, he was the son of the late Clarence D. and Annie A. (Delong) Bausher. He was a 1943 graduate of Hamburg High School. Floyd worked various jobs in the area, including, J.C. Erhlich, a part-time Hamburg police officer and a custodian at the Hamburg Area High School.
He was a member of Hamburg Bible Church, and was a former deacon at Belleman's Church. Floyd was a member of the Hamburg Odd Fellows, Hamburg Lions Club, and Shoemakersville Senior Citizens. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He played poker, pool and enjoyed bowling. Floyd played banjo in a quartet and was known for his sense of humor.
Floyd is survived by his children, Karen A. (Bausher), wife of David C. Adams, Tilden Twp., Beverly A. (Bausher), widow of Paul Bubbenmoyer, Hamburg, and Steven C. Bausher, husband of Bill Harman, San Tan Valley, Arizona; eight grandchildren: Russell Adams, and his wife Sandy,
Lisa (Adams), wife of Toby Bachman, Eric Adams, Deidre (Adams), wife of Ray Haslam Jr., Jeffery Bubbenmoyer, and his wife Holly, Julie Bubbenmoyer, fiance of Michael Keck, Matthew Bausher, and his companion Kerri, Michelle (Bausher) Heller, and her companion Jeff Kruppenbach; twenty great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his special friend, Fern (Rubright) Good, Edenburg.
Floyd was predeceased by two grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017, at 2:30 from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp
