arvey R. Zerphey, 74, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at his residence.
He was the husband of Geraldine H. (Honker) Zerphey, who died February 15, 2012.
Born in Derry Twp. on February 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Harvey G. and Beulah (Simmers) Zerphey.
A Hershey High School graduate, Harvey was employed by the Hershey Company for 40 years, retiring in 1999.
He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Bainbridge, and was an avid car racing fan, having attended many races all over the country.
Harvey is survived by daughters, Gloria Z. Latin, wife of John Taylor Jr., of Harrisburg, Brenda J. Walmer, of Elizabethtown; a nephew, Jerry Yeagley; grandchildren, Krista, Michelle, and Megan Latin, Jerry Walmer III; a sister, Leona Yeagley, of Elizabethtown; and a brother, Robert Zerphey, of Arnold, Maryland.
