Arthur E. "Art" Baer passed from this life on April 7, 2012.
He was born on May 12, 1924, in Oley, Pa., the son Pearl E. and John G. Baer.
Art was raised in Oley.
He served during WWII in the Marine Corps and following his discharge graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Architecture.
He retired from Gilbert Associates in 1980.
Married to Alva A. Baer, they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on June 22, 2011.
In addition to his wife, he leaves one daughter, Lois A. White, and one son, Michael A. Baer.
Art was an avid musician, playing the Euphonium and Trombone with both the Ringgold and Cadet Bands in Reading, Pa.
And after retiring to Palm Coast, Fla., in 1985, he continued playing with bands in Palm Coast and Daytona Beach, Fla.
There will be no funeral or memorial service.
