Joan Marie De Turk Fasig, 80, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9th, at home surrounded by family.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Mae (Bitler) De Turk, wife of the late Michael Gregoris. She was predeceased by her father, Ira F. De Turk. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Ecenrode.
She is survived by her daughters: Patti, wife of Dallas Correll, Stacy, wife of Brett Rodolff, and Cory, wife of John Montgomery. Also by 3 sons: Jesse, husband of Bonnie Fredericks, Harry III, husband of Pam Rothenberger, and Sean Fasig, fiancé of Connie.
Joan is also survived by her sisters, who dearly loved her: Iris Lesher, Patricia, wife of Glenn Rauenzahn, and Karen, wife of Bill Queen.
Also by 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, her cat, Cadi, and best friends, Kenny and Steve.
Joan loved her family in the best way she could. She was an excellent seamstress and crafter and loved creating for others.
Her favorite holiday was Halloween and she sewed beautiful costumes for her family. Joan loved flea marketing and finding treasures for her family.
Her family had a surprise 80th birthday this past fall where friends and family came across the country to show their love and support.
