Jane J. (Ruppert) Michael, 84, of Gibraltar, PA, passed awsy on Oct. 4, 2014 at the Berkshire Center, Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA.
Born in Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA, he was the son of the late Albert Ruppert and the late Edna (Klee) Ruppert. She was the wife of Rufus K. Michael.
Jane was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Gibraltar.
She retired from the former Bird Knit, Birdsboro, in 1995.
Jane was a member of the Women's Group at St. John's, a former Teacher at the Neversink Sunday School. Jane enjoyed bird watching, taking walks, crocheting.
Surviving along with her husband are 1 son, Cory, husband of Brenda Michael of Birdsboro; 2 daughters, Nancy, wife of Chris Messner of Birdsboro, and Lori Michael at home; 2 brothers, Forrest "Butch" Ruppert of Leroy, Michigan, and Barry Ruppert of Reading, PA; 4 sisters: Lucy Lambert of Blandon, PA; Gail Williams of Brandon, FL; Linda Chase of Wrightsville, PA; Doris Bubb of Strausstown, PA.
Funeral Service at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 North Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA, on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing is 1 hour prior to the service. Interment is in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
