    Awards  1910 Medal Buenos Aires International Exposition; 1915 Gold Medal Panama-Pacific International Exposition; 1916 First Place in the Americanization Through Art exhibition in Philadelphia;1918 won the Widener Gold Medal; 1951 won J.Sanford Saltus Award for outstanding Achievement in the Art of the Medal from the American Numismatic Society, plus at least five more. 
    Biographical  Sculpted many famous statues including;1917 "Bronze Penguins"(in the Philadelphia Zoo); 1911 "Turkey" (bronze); 1901 "Turtle and the Crab"(plaster);1914 "Billy" his famous bronze goat in Rittenhouse Square, to name a few.
