  [S319] York Daily Record, p. 5, 07 Aug 2010. MANCHESTER Irene Katie (Godfrey) Fink, 88, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at Manor Care North. She was the wife of Theodore R. Fink, who died on January 16, 1976. Irene was born May 24, 1922, in Springfield Township, York County, the daughter of the late Jacob and Lizzie (Peterman) Godfrey. She previously was employed by PADE Auto Auction in Strinestown and also the former Crones Restaurant at the New Eastern Market. Irene was a member of Quickels Lutheran Church and attended Strinestown United Brethren Church in Strinestown. Irene is survived by her son, Rickie Fink and his wife, Wanda of York. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dolly Lehman, and Viola Hulshart; and two brothers, Sterling Godfrey and Wilmer Godfrey. Her funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010, at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Strinestown Cemetery.
