Edith M. Albert, 98, of SpangCrest Manor, Lebanon, formerly of Myerstown, died of natural causes Saturday at SpangCrest Manor.
Mrs. Albert worked many years at the former Albert Brothers Bakery and retired from the former Publix Shirt Co. after several years.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and homemaking.
A member of Friedens Lutheran Church of Myerstown, Mrs. Albert was a lifetime member of the Pennsylvania Society for the Advancement of the Deaf.
Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hattie Bertram Wilhelm.
Her husband, Paul P. Albert, died in 1973.
Surviving are a son, Robert J., married to Mary Louise Albert of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar J. and Lee Wilhelm; and a sister, Ruth Wheeler.
