CHICOPEE - Theodore C. Giblo, 88, of Connecticut Avenue, died Wednesday at home. He was a 47-year manager of planning, purchasing and production for the former Westinghouse Corp. of Springfield, retiring in 1978. Born in Lowell, he lived here most of his life. His first wife, the former Mitcheline Bednarz, died in 1952. He leaves his second wife, the former Claire E. Viens; two sons, Theodore Jr. of Springfield and Joseph of East Douglas; one daughter, Helen Wolff of Holyoke; two sisters, Rose Corso of Chicopee and Leocadin Stepczyk of Annapolis, Md.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. His daughter, Mitcheline Giblo, died in 1954. The funeral will be Tuesday morning from Cierpal East Street Funeral Home and in the church, with burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joan of Arc., St. George School, 587 Grattan St., Chicopee, MA 01020 and to the American Lung Association, 393 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01105.
