- June gave her body to science at Vanderbilt University who will keep her body for a period of between six months to two years. Following that period, her body will be returned and will then be cremated and her ashes scattered at Bismarck, ND where she was born.

Obituary:
June Viola Woodley, age 70, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 6, 2005, at 5:55 in the evening from her home, with her husband and all her children at her side. Born June Viola Felix in Bismarck, ND on June 11, 1934, daughter of the late William Forrest Felix and Sylvia Viola Johnson of Michigan. She was preceded in death by parents, a great granddaughter and dear Aunt Janie.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jack Woodley, of Nashville; five children; 15 grandchildren,; six great grandchildren; sister, Yvonne Studulski and her three sons and family, brother, Franklin Felix and family, all of California; the Johnson families of North Dakota.
Per her wishes, her body was donated to Vanderbilt School of Medicine for lung research. The family, per her wishes, in lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Alcohol Anonymous, Middle Tennessee Center Office, Attn: Peggy C. Yana House, Better Breathers of Saint Thomas Hospital or the American Lung Association.
Her "Celebration of Life" will be February 12, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, with reception to follow.
