ROBERT J. PILGRAM
The Rev. Robert J. Pilgram, 70, retired Lancaster minister and former alumni secretary of Franklin and Marshall College, died June 3 at the Mt. Gretna Inn where he was vacationing.
Graduated from F & M in 1898 and, later, from the Easton Theological Seminary of the Reformed Church, he was ordained as a minister in 1901.
Dr. Pilgram served a Pittsburgh pastorate until 1912 when he was transferred to a Lancaster church. Twelve years later he resigned to accept the alumni secretaryship, a position he held until his retirement in 1945. He was widely known throughout the state by the alumni of Franklin and Marshall College.
For the past few years, he was supply pastor for the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church at Marietta, Pa.
