Dorothy May Strausser, 86, formerly of Shoemakersville and New Jersey, passed away Monday, Oct. 1 in the Laurel Center in Tilden Twp.
Born in Shoemakersville, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Strausser and Elsie (Adam) Strausser.
Dorothy was a secretary for International Missions in Reading and formerly in New Jersey.
Dorothy is survived by a sister, Betty, widow of Delton Blakeney, of Shoemakersville.
There are several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was predeceased by brothers, Ralph, Herbert, and Warren Strausser, and sisters, Edna Hartman and Alice Manwiller.
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple. Interment will follow in St. Johns Gernants Church Cemetery.
