Shirley E. (Brossman) Noecker, 78, of Wyomissing, passed away October 26, 2016, at the Reading Hospital.
She was the loving wife of Carl H. Noecker; they were married on June 20, 1959. Born in Wernersville, she was the daughter of the late Calvin L. and Dora W. (Althouse) Brossman.
Shirley graduated from Conrad Weiser High School in 1956 and McCann School of Business in 1957. She was a member of the West Lawn United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir.
Shirley enjoyed travel, golf, reading and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Gary Lee, husband of Dori Noecker, Wyomissing; Sheryl Lynn, wife of Dr. Robert Torti, Frisco, Texas; and Steven Carl, husband of Ann Marie Noecker, Sinking Spring. She was blessed with ten grandchildren: Sarah, Meghan, Austin, Alexandra Marie (deceased), Rachel Madison, Gary II, Weston, Delaney, Brennan and Christine; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Isla. She had three siblings: Calvin (deceased), husband of Eleanor Brossman, West Lawn, Laura, wife of Frank Krick, Wernersville, and Virginia, wife of Russell Frey, Birdsboro.
A viewing will be held Monday, October 31, 2016, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in West Lawn United Methodist Church, 15 Woodside Ave., Reading, Pa. 19609, with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be private in St. John's (Hains) Church Cemetery.
