Kutztown, Oct. 24 ? Victor S. Berger, 42, died suddenly last evening in his home, Greenwich Township, Kutztown RD 2. He was a son of the late Saniel and Emmalina (Reeser) Berger, and since the death of his father 20 years ago operated the farm at the Berger homestead.
He was a member of the Reformed congregation of New Bethel (Zion) Church, Grimville, and for several years served as a deacon. Surviving are his widow, Mabel (Snyder); daughter, Dorothy, wife of William Kistler; three sons, Earl, Norman and Ethan, at home; two brothers, Morris, of this place; Harvey, of Kutztown RD 1; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Reinhart, of Reading; Laura E., of this place, and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the house. Further services in New Bethel (Zion) Church, Grimville, the Rev. A.L. Brumbach officiating. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Paul D. Brumbach, funeral director, has charge.
