Allen F. Zerbe Sr., 58, of Pennsy Road, Pequea, died of natural causes Thursday at home.
He was the husband of Joan Brown Zerbe. They were married for 37 years.
Born in Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Lester and Bessie Sattizahn Zerbe.
A bricklayer, he had been employed at Warren's Jewelry Store in Columbia.
A 1956 graduate of Pine Grove High School, he was a member of the Pequea Valley Sportsmen's Association, the Pequea Boat Club, the Red Rose Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Rainmakers Association of Lancaster, Jacob's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove and Ascension Lutheran Church in Willow Street.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Allen F. Jr. of Quarryville and Gerald T. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence of Pine Grove and Earl of Rehrersburg; and a sister, Claire Smith of Pottsville.
