Richard E. Krick, 84, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Hummelstown, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Earl K. and Catherine (Wenrich) Krick. He was widowed by his loving wife of 58 years, Aleta M. (Cake) Krick in 2019. Richard worked as a superintendent for a H. B. Alexander and was a talented finish carpenter. In his younger years he was very active in showing Borzoi and Afghan Hounds. After retirement, he took up cooking. He was well known for cooking for his neighbors at Masonic Village. Richards family extends their heartfelt gratitude to his loving friends and the Masonic Village caregivers. He is survived by two children: Todd Krick and wife Beth of Palmyra, Lori Ann Krick-Sisky and husband Duane, of Houston, TX, granddaughter, Meredith Goulding and husband Tim of Harrisburg, and two great granddaughters, Stella and Lydia Goulding. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister Betty Reber. Services will be private.
