George S. Dunkel died from complications at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Groh, in Perry Township, in this borough, aged 78 years, 5 months and 22 days. He was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Sarg) Dunkel. There survive these children: Pertie, wife of Charles Grob, with home he resided; Lizzie, wife of William J. Brobst Hamburg; Eva Dunkel, Harrisburg; Titus Dunkel, Reading; Mahlon Dunkel, Chelsea, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and one sister, Charles Dunkel, Windsor township, and Hannah, wife of Cornelius Riegel, Shartlesville.
Funeral on Monday at 1:30 p. m. Services at the house. Rev. W. K. Fisher officiating. Interment in Zion's Union Church cemetery, in charge of Funeral Directors D, A. Burkey & Sons, of Hamburg.
