Calvin L. Brossman, 90, formerly of West Lawn, died Dec. 7 at 4:35 a.m. in the residence of a daughter, Laura J. (Brossman) Krick, Spring Township, where he had resided three years.
He was the husband of Dora (Althouse) Brossman.
Born in Wernersville, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Ellen D. (Focht) Brossman.
Brossman was employed from 1933 to 1955 as a knitter by Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing. He was last employed in the maintenance department by the Conrad Weiser School District at its South Heidelberg Elementary School and at the high school from 1955 until his retirement in 1980.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wernersville.
Brossman also is survived by two other daughters, Shirley E. (Brossman) Noecker, Myerstown, and Virginia D. (Brossman) Frey, Birdsboro.
Other survivors include a sister, Grace (Brossman) Luft, Wernersville.
There also are 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Calvin C. Brossman, in 1996.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Hain's Church Cemetery, Lower Heidelberg Township. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. and Mrs. Calvin L. Brossman, 237 Chapel Hill Road, Spring Township, celebrated their 70 th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.
They were married Aug. 3, 1935, in Elkton, Md.
Brossman, son of the late Charles E. and Ellen (Focht) Brossman, is retired from Conrad Weiser School District.
His wife, Dora W., is a daughter of the late Wayne and Susan Althouse. She is retired from Talbots, Womelsdorf.
They had four children: Shirley, wife of Carl Noecker, Myerstown; Laura, wife of Frank Krick, Spring Township; Virginia, wife of Russell Frey, Exeter Township, and Calvin C., deceased. There are 10 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren.
