John E. Books, of 622 Strawberry Alley died at 6:45 o'clock Thursday evening of heart failure following an illness of six weeks. His wife, Charlotte, and two children, John, 2 years, and Elizabeth, 6 months, survive, as do also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Books, and these brothers and sisters: Grant, Charles, Raymond and Annie, all of this city. Deceased was a millman, played the baritone horn in the City band and was a member of Seventh Street Lutheran church and Swatara Tribe, No. 276, Red Men.
