DOWNS ? Irvin Ernest Burmeister, 91, of Downs, died Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Yorba Linda, Calif. He was born Aug. 20, 1923, in Downs to Charles and Bertha (Schreiber) Burmeister.
Those preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Doris; daughter, Gwen Ann; and brother, Raymond.
Survivors include his daughter, Irva Kay, of Corvallis, Ore.; grandchildren, Eric and Katie; three great-grandchildren; sister, Diana, of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, at Zion Lutheran Church, Downs, with Pastor Jon Bonine officiating. Final resting place will be in Downs Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church. Domoney Funeral Home, P.O. Box 127, Downs, is in charge of arrangements.
