Born in Lebanon on December 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Harvey and Martha Binkley Mease. Allen retired from the former Lebanon Steel Foundry, where he had worked as a welder. He loved to tinker with about anything, and he especially enjoyed going to auctions and a good flea market. He is survived by his sons Frederick L. Mease of Jonestown, Steven A. husband of Sherry Mease of Lebanon, Carl R. Mease of Palmyra, Randall E. Mease of Lebanon, and Neil A. Mease of Cornwall; brothers Harrison Mease of Alabama and Thomas Mease of Fredericksburg; sisters Linda Doster of Jonestown, Anna Kreiser of Fontana and Louise of Schuylkill Co.; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ray, Eddie, Charles, Elvin and Fred Mease and a sister Geraldine Bohr. In honoring Allen's wishes, there will be no services.
