Roy E. Reber, 90, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Violet (Kline) Reber, who died Nov. 9.
Born in Bethel Twp., he was a son of the late Irvin and Sally (Strauss) Reber.
He was a member of Salem Reformed Church. Bethel.
He was the owner of Roy E. Reber Excavating and Paving.
He is survived by five children, Valerie, wife of Steven Epler, Bethel, Lila, wife of Duane Rudy, Bethel, Roger Reber, Bethel, Celia Reber, West Lawn, and Bradley Reber, Bethel; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Spitler, Bethel; and a brother, John Frantz. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Hollenbach, and Mabel Meigs.
A service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 26, at Hill Funeral Home, 111 Godfrey St., Rehrersburg. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery.
