William L. Minninger, 70, a resident at the Sanatoga Center, Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, died May 13 in Pottstown Medical Center, where he had been a patient for one day.
Born in Douglass Township, he was a son of the late William R. and Emma C. W. (Keim) Minninger.
Minninger had been employed for more than 30 years by Boyertown Casket Co., and last worked for Eastern Foundry, Boyertown, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Congregational Church, Boyertown.
Minninger was a life member of the Liberty Fire Company, New Berlinville.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Minninger, Reading; and four sons: John, Barto; Russell, Gilbertsville; David, Birdsboro; and Daniel, Austin, Texas.
Other survivors include a sister, Shirley (Minninger) Heydt, Boyertown; and two brothers, Paul R., Gilbertsville, and Carl, New Berlinville.
There also are eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday at noon in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown. Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Boyertown, is in charge of arrangements.
