Mildred A. Heckman, 85, of North Manheim Twp., Schuylkill Co., passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in her residence. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Glenn Emerich; and her long-time companion, Raymond Noecker. Born in Schubert, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Gingrich) Reber. Mildred was a cook for Dutch Kitchen, Strausstown. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, cross stitch, cooking, gardening, canning and her grand-puppies. Mildred is survived by her children: George C. Heckman, Sr., Bethel; Kenneth G. Heckman, Bethel; Harvey A. Heckman, husband of Brenda, Hillsgrove, Sullivan Co.; Sheila M. Latshaw, wife of James Latshaw, Jr., Bernville; and Dawn M. Fajna, wife of Robert Fajna, Jr., Schuylkill Haven; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter: Patricia A. Wagner; a grandson; and a brother: Harvey Reber. Services will be held on Monday at 7:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear).
