Sarah S. Bashore, 83, of Westview Terrace, Womelsdorf, formerly of Bernville, died Sept. 24 at 5:35 p.m. in Berks Heim, where she had resided since Aug. 14.
Her husband, G. Homer Bashore, died June 18, 1998.
Born in Lower Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Florence M. (Stump) Bohn.
Bashore was employed as a machine operator by Freeman Shoes, Richland, Lebanon County, retiring in 1963.
She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Bernville.
Bashore was a life member of the auxiliary of the Mount Pleasant Fire Company.
Surviving is a son, Larry G., Robesonia.
Other survivors include two brothers, Llewellyn and Walter Bohn, both of Sinking Spring; a sister, Thelma (Bohn) Wehr, Wernersville; and a granddaughter.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Bernville.
