Arlan C. Berger, (82) of Maxatawny Township, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2023. Arlan was married 53 years to his loving wife, Elaine, who passed in 2020. Born in Kutztown, PA, Arlan was the son of the late Clarence and Esther (Behm) Berger. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His past times were spent operating his construction equipment, deer hunting, annual butchering with family, attending public auctions, speaking the PA Dutch dialect and eating PA Dutch foods. Arlan was the owner of Arlan Berger Excavating for 53 years retiring in 2020. Arlan will be remembered by his children, Glenn A. Berger, husband of Heidi; Charles A. Berger, husband of Karen; Ronald R. Berger husband of Tara; and Keith C. Berger, companion of Dawn; his six grandchildren Sarah, Rebecca, Katelyn, Julia, Lila, Logan and his brother Neal. He was preceded in death by brothers Marvin, Luther and Kermit Berger. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home Inc.,117 West Main Street Fleetwood, PA 19522, on Wednesday July 12, from 9 AM until 11 AM, followed by a public graveside service 12 noon at Maxatawny Zion Cemetery, 329 Church Road, Kutztown
