Putt, died Sunday morning at 11:34 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since Dec. 7. Born in Fritztown, she was a daughter of James and Kathryn [Catharine] (Freeman) Johnston. Her husband died Feb. 25, 1939. Surviving are a daughter, Elsie K., wife of Charles S. Guiles, Wernersville R.D. 1, and four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Private services have been arranged by the Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Wernersville. The Rev. Robert I. Rhoads will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
