Irene P. Teter, 81, of East Brunswick Township, passed away Tuesday at home.
Born in East Brunswick Township, Sept. 25, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Clara Knoll Grube.
She married her husband, George I. Teter, on Nov. 4, 1950.
Irene was a member of Christ Church McKeansburg.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Carl Teter; and sister, Clara Louise Bensinger.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Susan and husband, Clarence Paul III, McKeansburg, Karen Riegel, at home, and Nancy and husband, Dennis Seltzer, Selinsgrove; a son, Carl Teter and his wife, Susan, New Ringgold; grandchildren, David J. Teter and wife, Amanda, New Ringgold, Anna J. Teter, Lynchburg, Va., Katie J. Miller, New Ringgold, Jody Goodling and husband, Gabe, New Cumberland, Marsha Zabarkes and husband, Ben, Baltimore, Md., Nathan Paul and wife, Laura, Hummelstown, Mark Paul and wife, Kim, Orwigsburg, Roxanne Seltzer and Audrey Seltzer, both of Selinsgrove; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Guy Grube and wife, Norma, Kempton; sisters, Helen Mae Eckroth, New Ringgold, and Sara Ann Feichtel and husband, Frank, Mechanicsburg; and brother-in-law, Walter "Ben" Bensinger.
