Bensinger, George I., a leading druggist of Schuylkill Plaven, was born at Summit Station, Schuylkill county, Jan. 22, 1876. His paternal great-grandparents, Solomon and Anna (Frailey) Bensinger, were the first settlers of McKeansburg in this county. His maternal grandfather was Henry Trumbo and he is a son of Irvin and Sarah (Trumbo) Bensinger.
The probate of the will of Solomon is dated 1874
