Carla J. Mauser, 71, of Jonestown passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Terry Mauser of Jonestown. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in August.
Born in Pottsville on May 10, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Delphine (Stine) Hummel. She worked as a custodian at Gold Mills in Pine Grove for 15 years and at Fort Indiantown Gap for 17 years until she retired. Carla liked fishing, watching NASCAR, watching the birds and wildlife at their home and going on Cruises, most of all she enjoyed spending time with Terry and her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Jack Fritz and his wife Kelly of Jonestown; grandchildren Vincent Fritz and Jynna Fritz; brother Blair Hummel of Pine Grove and sister Gail Madenford of Pine Grove. She was preceded in death by a brothers Roy Hummel and Dennis Stine.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt 72 & Camp Meeting Rd. Jonestown. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
